Abstract submission

Contributions for oral and poster presentations are invited. Abstracts of a maximum 250 words should be submitted online by 19 March 2021. Prizes will be awarded for the best oral and poster presentation from an Early Career Researchers (defined as 3 years after the last degree) - please indicate your eligibility during the submission process.

Authors with an abstract accepted for presentation will be required to submit their presentation by 9 April 2021, which will then be available to preview on the website from 14 April 2021. Authors with an abstract accepted for an oral presentation are expected to send a pre-recorded version of their talk (max 15 minutes) and for Poster presenters, please send a PDF of your poster, PowerPoint slides with or without narration, or a movie file (MP4).

Information for submitting your abstract

If you have previously submitted an abstract or registered to attend an IOP Conference, please log in. For new users you will need to create an account. If you have forgotten your password, you can request details from the login page. Please note your submission will not be completed until you reach the "submission confirmation" page.

Instructions:

• Select the preferred topic
• Enter your abstract title
• Indicate eligibility for prizes
• Indicate the presenting authors gender - this information is supplied for the purpose of monitoring only
• Indicate your preference for an oral or poster presentation
• Select the corresponding and presenting author
• Paste your abstract into the field (max 250 words)
• Review your submission and select submit.

The corresponding author will receive an email confirming the submission. If you do not receive an email, your abstract may not have been received and you are advised to contact the conferences team by email to conferences@iop.org or by telephone to +44 (0)20 7470 4800.
